Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Claude for Lawyers (“we” or “us”) collects through claudeforlawyers.com, why we collect it, and who processes it for us. We collect only what we need to send our newsletter, respond to your requests, and deliver services you buy. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use advertising or analytics trackers.

Please don’t send client-confidential information through any of our forms.

1. What we collect

• Newsletter signup: your email address, and which of our forms you used.
• Training requests: your name, work email, firm, role, how many people need training, practice areas, how your team uses Claude today, format preference, and goals.
• Website visibility quiz: your email address, your answers, and your result.
• Rebuild intake (clients only): the details you provide about your firm, such as practice areas, attorneys, locations, and your current website.
• Purchases: our payment processor collects your payment details. We receive your email address, the amount, and a transaction reference. We never see your card number.
• Member area (invited members only): a sign-in cookie, any questions you send to the Firm Desk along with the name, firm, and email you include, and your lesson progress, which is saved only in your own browser.
• Emails you send us and our replies.
• Technical data: our hosting provider processes standard request data, such as IP address and browser type, to serve the site and keep it secure. When you submit a form, a bot-protection check runs in your browser to tell people from automated scripts.

2. How we use it

• To send the newsletter you signed up for.
• To respond to training requests, schedule calls, and prepare proposals.
• To deliver services you buy and send emails about them, such as your rebuild kickoff email.
• To answer your questions.
• To protect our forms from spam and abuse.

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

3. The newsletter

Signing up through the newsletter form, the website visibility quiz, or the rebuild intake adds your email to our newsletter. A training request adds you only if you tick the box. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away.

4. Service providers

We use trusted service providers to run the site and our services: website hosting and bot protection, payment processing, newsletter and email delivery, data storage, and call scheduling. They process your data to provide those services to us, under their own privacy terms.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. The member area uses one sign-in cookie, which lasts up to 90 days, and saves your lesson progress in your browser’s local storage. Our bot-protection check may store a small amount of data in your browser to work.

6. How long we keep it

We keep newsletter records until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. We keep request, quiz, and client information for as long as we need it to respond to you or deliver our services, and as long as we’re required to for tax, accounting, or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we’ll delete whatever we aren’t required to keep.

7. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing hello@claudeforlawyers.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we’ll honor requests as that law requires.

8. Security

We limit access to your information to what’s needed to run the site and our services. Our database isn’t publicly accessible, and payments never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

9. Children

This site is for legal professionals. It isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
